Did anyone see that new series pilot Windfall last night?

If so, what did you think?

Oh, I wish that was the case.  No, I have been swamped at work working on big acquisition projects and at home dealing with everyday things and it seems like I don't have any time to listen and forum.  Lately at work I have been listening but can't forum.  I do need to retire so that I can have more FFR time.

Thanks for asking and I will try harder to stay connected.

Lucky number 7: KTVB employees split $10k lottery prize

BOISE - A group of Channel 7 employees is feeling lucky today after sharing in a $10,000 Powerball lottery prize.

Idaho Lottery Director Roger Simmons presents 20 Channel 7 employees with a check for $10,000 they won in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

Twenty KTVB employees have been putting $1 each into the Powerball pot since 1989 - any time the jackpot climbs over $50 million.

Today, the group's leader, Sammy Rickelman, checked the numbers and thought they had won $100. After further investigation, she realized they won the $10,000 prize - or $500 apiece.

Perhaps their luck was boosted by a bit of coincidence: tonight, NBC debuts a new series about 20 lottery winners. The show, "Windfall" - features folks who split a much bigger prize, but the lucky parallels are hard to ignore.

Rickelman says they will continue to play the numbers and she has already collected a dollar for Saturday night's jackpot.

They group was just one white ball number away from the breathtaking $61.3 million jackpot. They matched four of five white balls and the red Powerball.
