Morning all! Probably going to take E to see Cars- it was supposed to be a family thing, but the hubby is fishing and the older girl is with her mom. But little E starts her field trips next week and they are going to the movies and she told me she is scared of the dark at the movies. I want to take her today to reassure her all is good there! Need to run some errands too. Had to abruptly leave last night- my internet went down.

goodmornin!


I am going to get a Mcbreakfastwich at Mcdonalds and then go to work until noon. I am battling with half-tone scanned images at work, and want to find the best setting to complete the project. Not something I can do with other people around.


Tonight, going to see Joshua Bell- he did The Red Violin, so this should be pretty cool.

Last night we went to see JAGJAGUWAR. Our friend who plays bass for The Wina-Freds and Pedro played with these guys last night. They were the last of 4 bands. The first one was okay, a typical rock band. The second one had a female lead singer who could really belt it out and who played piano for half of their set, but they liked distortion a bit too much; they were good, but could've been better. The third band was so cool, they did an ambient-type thing. And then this was the first time I heard JAGJAGUWAR, and they were really cool too. Kind of a wrap up of all the styles of the night, they had more focus than the ambient ones, but they still had this sound liek they were from a dream. We had a blast, but didn't get in until 3.

Then I woke up early (hey, 8 is early when you go to bed at 3) to go to the ever thrilling license branch. My registration expired a couple weeks ago. Luckily, I got there right when they opened, so I didn't have any wait at all. Then I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't, so now I'm here. I've got lots of projects that I haven't finished, so I hope to work on at least one of them this weekend, in addition to a few chores and laundry.

Afternoon all! Just checking in. Glad to see others have been here too! I slept in until 11am! Hubby jumped on the bed and told me to get up! Hubby has been working on the wall project all morning. Not sure what is in store for the day. At least I am awake and dressed! Have a great...........!
