Ruby, sorry to hear you'll be busy all week , but I assume this means that soon we'll see more of you, so it's a good thing right?

We're about ready to take off. It is going to be a beautiful day . . . its 56 now with a high around 80. It should be nice driving weather. Supposed to get hot this week again though.

Cool web!

Hey, that wouldn't hold the stream though hey? Because it's constantly switching between different towers it's fine for surfing but if you tried to stream the station it would keep dropping correct?

If they can fix that someday we could actually have internet radio in the car. Then we'd have a chance to take off!

Of course, then the FCC would come in and restrict the hell out of internet radio.

Good Monday, all!  The weekend was definitely not long enough. Looks to be a rainy kind of day in KC.  The forecast says mid 80's and thunderstorms.  Should be an interesting kind of week... boss is out on vacation, so is half the team.

I haven't tried streaming mobile. I'm not supposed to stream media on this service.

We are just about to Grand Island Nebraska where we will get on I-80. Typing and driving at the same time is cool!

Web you're one cool dude.


We started the day with torrential rain and thunder...brightened and though we didn't quite pass 70 degrees it was lovely...


Usual morning at work...then shopping...then off to the car part place to get a new wing mirror to replace the stolen one!!! Grrrr.


Then this that and the other until a meal out with the girls and Mark for Martha's 10 the birthday.


And you realise when you see other people's problems and events that life is so precious and many everyday simple things are to be cherished, treasured and remembered.....


I think of our FreezeFrameFriend KD7URF and his family....


I think of my mate's wonderful 17 year old son who just buried his mate on Saturday...the parents of the lad held the funeral on the Saturday so the other kids could attend and  not miss the funeral through exams...and I don't know why but the thoughtfulness of those parents for their late son's friends/fellow students...in enabling then to say goodbye to their son touches me as much as anything and really chokes me up...

Gosh Pip that is rough too. Hard to deal with death at any age, but when you are young- I know it is harder.

Man, I missed a lot today. My thoughts are with everyone.

We had our annual COTA Golf Outing today. When I got to the course this morning, I promptly sprained my ankle putting a sign up. But after that, I got to go around and take pictures of the teams at each of the holes. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather, and I got to spend a good part of it riding around the course in a golf cart! Now I've got my foot up and finally checking the forum...

sorry to hear about your foot, but other than that, that sounds like one heck of a monday!


I had always said that if I hit it rich, my monday morning meeting at 9 am would be at hole 1!!

I was totally addicted to golf about 10 yrs ago. There is that curve when you are learning and you start playing pretty good (relatively speaking) that you want nothing more then to be out there on that course!


Then you realize that unless you play every day twice a day that you won't get any better...

I know! I am so clumsy!!! My hubby wants me to go to the doctor, but I don't want to. Unfortunately, I walked on it a bit today, which probably wasn't a good idea. But, I'll try to take care of it the next couple days, and hopefully it'll get better.

Hubby is going golfing this weekend while we are up north. Due to some bad weather he and a coworker didn't get to finish their game for their company 20th anniversary. So they are going to meet up and use their pass. This is also where hubby screwed up his knee in the first place.

They finish this year on 21 July and go back 4th September
