The terrible two's have hit. Tantrum because I didnt get her cookie fast enough, tantrum because I won't let her have all the ice out of the freezer to play with. Tantrum because I am on the computer and not playing weebles. Help

Sorry Ally,


Mine were good at 2 compared to their 3's.  Plus, my wife owned a daycare and I got to experience at least five 3 year olds at a time. 


Hang in there.  It does get over with, or you get used to it.  Not sure which.   ....   .   .

We were having some of those struggles with our 5-1/2 year old this week. Same problems, just bigger stuff.

His issue at the zoo . . . on the way out of the aquarium you have to come out through the gift/toy shop. He wanted a shark toy. Ok, no problem . . . but that was the first thing we did and we didn't want to carry this toy around all day. "I'll carry it". Yeah, right, been there, done that.

So, we promised him that we would go back there and get him a toy before we went home. So, the rest of the day, we had to deal with "I'm ready to go home now", which was only because he wanted to go back and get the toy. He was still enjoying the rest of the zoo. It finally came to a big scene in which he almost lost getting anything at all.

I'm sure there are some men that don't have a outside service for some of these tasks and have to break down and do it themself. Its like laundry you can pay for it and it might get done right or do it yourself and know it will be done right.

I guess it all depends on how urgently the monkey needs to get spanked! What sort of time-frame is optimal, all that...and, depending on the monkey's owner, there is that cost of outsourcing vs doing it yourelf to consider. Expectation vs actual deliverables....Ah the business of spanking the monkey....I hear it is the oldest business ever!
