Alright Sparky!

Now AC was saying you were telling her no one was talking when you were here last night. So speak up my friend!

What's new in the Sparksters world today? Get any new flea collars?

Hey!!! Wait a minute! I bought Little A a couple new Elmo and Muppet videos at a garage sale this morning. She wanted Daddy to watch them with her....I just woke up.

Even if this is one of those pitty threads...How's everyone today?

Wow!

Look at that! You cleared the room!

When's the last time Allycat gave you a bath?

I'm doing well today sir. I went to K-Mart for some dirt (decided Home Depot was too far for just some dirt) and came how with TWO, count em TWO new pairs of shoes for a combined cost of $14.99!!!!

They were on clearance, marked down from $40 each to $7.49 a pair! Of course, they're total crap, but they'll get the job done for a couple months atleast right?

Good job Riggs! I too spent $7.49 on a pair of sandals at K-mart the other day.

The way I figure it, if I spend .25 per video instead of $15. to $20. at garage sales. That's a whole lot less I have to work for Little A's College fund!

Exactly!

I LOVE finding a good bargain. Rummage sales are a treasure trove!

A couple years ago I found a rummage where some woman was selling a whole set of those brown tinted pyrix pans and covers, the ones with the teflon inside. BRAND NEW! Still in the box! $2.00!!!!!

It was like a $60.00 set at Kohl's department store and this woman sold it for TWO BUCKS!

I feel good for a whole week after I get a deal like that!

And you're right, all that saved cash can go toward something else, like lil' A's college fund!

Last weekend, I stopped at a gar(b)age sale and didn't find anything I wanted. I did notice though that this lady had like 50 sets of rubber stamps. The ones that are for scrap booking, making cards, etc. She had all these sets marked at $2-$5.00 and they normally cost $15-$40. My wife called a couple friends and went and cleaned her out. They couldn't believe how cheap she was selling all that stuff.

I was a hero for about four minutes for letting them know about it.

Speaking of good deals, you guys should check out that Freecycle.org thing Pip told us about. You wouldn't believe the stuff people give away! I was going to go get some free oregano, chocolate mint, and curly mint plants yesterday, but the lady lived an hour away and I wasn't up to driving that far.

And since we're sharing good deals, yesterday Joann Fabrics was having a huge sale. I got at least 5 yards of farbic for $8! I'm working on quilting a cover for our papasan chair.
