Has anybody ever been.  It's here in my part of the country, Manchester, TN.  This year was their most successful year yet.  I think they had 80,000 over the weekend.  They really do bring in an eclectic bunch of entertainers, something for everyone.  I've not ever been, just wondering in you all might.  I could definitely picture some of you all in the crowd.

holy cow tg, never heard of! let us know if you find out more! I took a train through memphis last year; even from a train yard tenessee looked worth exploring, while I must say Jackson, Mississippi, was just scary, from the train yard.

my daughter went with some friends from school.


it's a drunkfest...  she had a great time -- AFTER she got so drunk and dehydrated that she ended up in a medical tent with an i.v. in her arm!  the doctor called me and put her on the phone, "mommy (she still calls me that), can you come pick me up?"  of course i couldn't just run over there to kick her azz because that would take 10 hours and by that time i would already be calmed down and wouldn't KILL her!


i had a similar experience at a grateful dead concert in 82 or 83...

They talk about it on the radio here every year, but I've never been.

Does anybody remember Lilith Fair? My husband got to go and he loved it, but unfortunately I never got the chance. I wish they were still doing that, it sounded like fun.
