Hey, birdman has been trying to watch you guys as he could.

I woke up at 7 am this morning and had to RUN to the little birds room, I think I might have gotten a little touch of food poisening or something. That's the only thing I can think of. It felt like there was a big ol' rock in my stomach or something.

Spent all morning in and out of sleep on the couch :( I took the laptop to the couch with me to tell you all I wouldn't be around, but fell asleep before I got a chance!

The only thing I can figure is I might have had some bad lunch meat last night. I knew I was pushing it with this stuff that had been opened a while, but I was hungry and it was there.

I threw the rest out now!

he went camping over the weekend about an hour away southwest of here. Went to go visit his nephew who works on a farm that makes organic milk and organic chicken.

Now I'm afraid to eat anything before I start my route, but I really should because I haven't had anything all day and yesterday I was busy most of the day and only got one crappy little poisened sandwich in for lunch and another crappy little poisened sandwich in for supper

Maybe I should try some Pepto. It coats and soothes.

I hope you feel better soon. I have some reglan if you need it works good for making the pukies and poopies go away, but makes you sleep.


Lesson #1 Don't eat old stuff, look at the dates and never more than a week old if it's open. Sparky is an expiration date nazi, if its the day before he won't eat it.


Lesson #2 sick birds shouldn't drive, stay home. If you are that sick and sleepy you might fall asleep at the wheel.

Hey! I know that whole retching other etching thing all too well! Not gonna eat green lunch meat or curdled milk ever for this cat! Plus if you don't check expiration dates you could buy something outdated at the store.

oh I am an expiration date nazi too!


I know for a fact I had some tortillia chips that expire tomorrow, even. they get tossed tonight!


juice too! Always grab from the back- that stuff has an expiration date sometimes 3 weeks later than the stuff up front!

I had the ecoli about 4 yrs ago. that stuff makes the boobonic plague seem like the sniffles! So I am a EXPIRATION DATE NAZI!

I always pull from the back too. I'm very cautious about expiration dates and make an effort to schedule my meals to finish stuff before it's got to be thrown away.

The one thing I was always bad at was lunch meat.

I'm not THIS bad anymore, but in the past, if I bought something say June 1, let's says sliced Turkey, and it's expiration was July 31. I would open it on June 2'nd and continue to eat it right up until July 31.

My Mom had a fit when I told her once I did that, and I didn't beleive that the expiration date changes because it's open (I figured they'd have to mention that on the pack). I called the manufacturer to prove to her she was wrong, turned out it was me that was wrong. 5 - 7 days after it's open they said.

The thing that sucks with that is that I live alone, so a lot of times once something is open it means that's all I'm gonna be eating for the next four days.

By the way, about fifteen years of eating waaaaaaaaaaaay old lunchmeat and never got sick once!

I'm that way with milk, I won't drink it past the sell by date. I won't even buy it if the sell by date is within the next week. And I always pull from the back.
