I made it to work! Been a long week- I have been leaving early so E can go to Vacation Bible School. She leaves at 5:15 p.m. and gets back at 8:45 p.m.. Then she is wound up!

Done mowing my 1+ acre here at the shop/office. My "new" John Deere rider did a FINE job. I think I'll keep it.

Actually his name is "Bill". He is a Walmart "Murray" special. Get it? . . . "Bill Murray". Anyway, he may have finished out this season, but he's getting tired and I'm running out of good metal to wire and tape to.

It sounds like Bill's going to move on to the lawn mower racing circuit. My dad had three of these broken Murray riders sitting in his machine shop waiting for a trip to the recycle center. The son of my dad's friend, came and got them and got them all running again. He said they are now doing 45mph around hay bales. lol

My dad noticed my "new" mower here and said he'd call this guy to come get "Bill" and help him move along into his next career.
