Could you turn off the freeze-frame stream you're listening to for a minute (GASP) and go to the home page.

A stream should start up automatically, please let me know how it compares to the stream you WERE using.

You might have to f5 to get the page to refresh properly

ok here's the dealeo, it starts like it is supposed to but, and this is a big but. It stops if you clivk on any buttons such as the forum button.

right, I know it will stop when you go somewhere ally. I'm just curious about sound quality in comparison to what you're used to. How is that.

Web, any idea why it wouldn't work on your page? You see the player right? Is it a linux thing? This is a WMA stream.

I'm on my XP laptop.

I see the player, it does not auto play, If I press play It flashes "Connecting" for just a second then goes back to "Ready".

It could be some security setting I have here.

the sound is ok, not quite as good as the normal player but still ok.

Oh man. That's the hardest part about getting everyone to be able to tune in. With all the firewalls, anti-virus, pop up blockers, etc. Everyone is shut down before they can tune in and they think it's our fault

Cool AC.

That's only a 32k stream, that's why it's not as good.

But this is something I can stream directly into the myspace page.

This is also potentially going to let us break free from Live365 by doing our own streaming. A little more expensive, but no chains of live365.

Hmm, let me try it in firefox.

ALLY, can you check it out again. I fixed it so it will play no matter where you go, at least it should. Test drive it for me would you buddy? I'll stalk you twice as much tomorrow if you do!

Yes, it will track those stats too!

This allows us to potentially open up various types of streams for different people. For example we could allow the lower 32, the average 64, or for the REAL music nut who might have the computer hooked up to their stereo system we could even offer 128k which would sound EXCELLENT.

Yup, works in Firefox on Myspace.

Doing and A/B comparrison with the VIP player and headphones, I can certainly tell a difference. The Myspace stream sounds more compressed. Its not "bad". If the VIP player quality is a "10", I'd call the 32k line a "5" and the Myspace Stream a "7" or "8".

If the Myspace plyer is 32k, it sounds better than the Live365 32k line.
