Breakfast bingo? Is that where you have to have bingo to pick a breakfast item? One win = coffee. Two wins = coffee and eggs. Three wins and you get a whole breakfast platter.

well it is sort of the bingo equivalent of a methodone clinic for junkies. All the people have bad gambling shakes first thing in the morning, so they go to get their bingo fix! Some of the folk are so whacked out, that they use trolls and things to conjure up the good luck bingo spirit!

so why do they play bingo? It is an old lady or native american thing here. Just regular people don't play bingo in this area.

haha, i brought a troll to bingo once...it didnt bring me any luck :( some people are soo crazy there, they bring tons of stuff, trolls, other weird figures, pictures of their kids...it is a little scary, but for some reason i keep going back

Bingo, Bowling and Fish Fries have always been huge in Milwaukee.

Don't know why. But when I was a kid EVERY church had bingo at least once a week!

hey speaking of fish frys- I just found out the little bar up on the next block from my house does a friday fish-fry. I guess its pretty good too- there are so many church and restaurant fish fries around here that the little bar tosses in a handful of deep-fried shrimp while charging a buck less than most of the other places around here that don't do the shrimp- gonna have to try it out!

Hey JD, there was a looooooooooooong train tonight so instead of turning off state street onto 68'th I took it up to hawley and used the bridge. WHAT THE HECK! Why is that thing still down to one lane? It looks like they're done, let's open it up already!

yea they finally opened up ONE southbound lane like a week ago- and what a pain for those folks (like you) comin up that ramp hey??? the only reason is that there is still a lot of trailers and equipment parked further up in the right-hand lane.


I am so glad at least its partially open. Last Sunday was the first Sunday in ages that I could take hawley road instead of 41 to the studio!


wow your route takes you over on my side of town? I did not know that! Or was this for the cleaning account?

No, it's for the route, my last pickup is the Wauwatosa Chase Bank on 74'th and State. I get there every night around 7 then head downtown to drop all the work off.

aw hey my old stompin grounds! I had a place off of 68th and State years ago. Colonel Harts is up there- really REALLY good steak, onion rings, salad up there for $9. I've paid twice as much for steak 1/2 as good elsewhere! that's where me and my old roomates would go to watch Sunday football!

Have you seen how torn up state street is now?!?

They have you going OFF THE ROAD and on about a 40 degree angle along side the railroad tracks!

The pot holes are insane!

absoluetly sir...that's my sentry store up there. I HATE going up there after work in rush hour. its like the dust-bowl. I close the window and shut off the air till I'm past that. its terrible.
