My step-daughters brother is almost 3 I think. He is too smart for his own good and I thought that I would share some of his latest statements.
They are trying to get him potty-trained so he can go to school. The girl (14)got mad at another one of his refusals to use the toilet and slapped a diaper on him- telling him if you're gonna wet your pants like a baby then I'm putting a diaper on ya like a baby!
Later on while being told by his mom that he needed to start using the toilet like a big boy, he said if your gonna put a diaper on me like a baby then I will pee in the diaper like a baby!
They went camping at a Yogi Bear campground recently. An obsessive adult kept fussing over the possibilities of coming into contact with a bear. So every time there was a noise the kids would ask if it was a bear.
At some point there were people walking around in the characters costumes and such. The boy with his Mom got his picture taken with Yogi. Afterwords he said " That Yogi was nice. He didn't eat me!"

It's always great when the kids start using your psychology against you!
When my daughter was 4 we were at Outback and she had brought a little plastic alligator to play with at the table. When the waitress saw it she asked my daughter if her crocodile was from Australia. My daughter turned the little toy over and replied "No, China. See?" and pointed to the Made in China label.
