Over 20,000 listener hours on the 64k line.

Hey guys!

Slowly but surely we're building our way back!

About a year ago this time we were nearing an all time record of 25,000 listener hours per month on our main 64k line. Then it all went horribly wrong and we plummeted to 14,000 hours on average for months.

But we're back over 20,000 now and will probably pass 21,000 this week.

WE REALLY APPRECIATE all of the tuning in you guys do! Expecially at home, during those hours when normally it would be dead around here!

New numbers just came in and we broke 21,000.

GOOD JOB FOLKS!

That's really amazing because we have 1/3'rd of the free slots we did when we were close to hitting 25,000.

The big difference is that back then we only had a nice audience during work hours.

Now we have a lot of you guys tuning in at home at night and on weekends.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! We REALLY REALLY do appreciate it!

Can you tell how many hours I had yesterday alone. I can it was enough I did NOTHING else all day.

yesterday, I had it on all day from like 9 out time until about 10 last night. I did have it off for about an hour when I was gone to the park. I know Sparky had his on a lot at work too.

Yeah, that can't be right, I listened for more than 7 too. And do you really have that many people in Wisconsin? Or, because you're based out of Wisconsin, and maybe some of us registered from there instead?

I don't know. I always thought the WI numbers were way inflated too. But you should be counted based on where your internet is based.

Webguy might know more about this, but it's like where the lines are coming out of.

It's common for someone in Southeastern Wisconsin to appear to be coming out of Illinois and vice-versa for example.

AOL is completely screwy and messes with all the stats.

Nebraska isn't even listed there.

If you trace my IP number though, it shows as belonging to Qwest in Denver, Colorado. I suspect I'm in the Colorado number.

Technically, its not a "trace". A trace will actually follow the path back as far as it can to your IP number. In this case, the software is doing a query on a database to see who currently is "owner" (the ISP) of your IP number.

If you have a small locally owned ISP, it would show your town. If you are on a major nationwide ISP, it will show the main office, or a regional office address.
