TGIF! But I will still be busy this weekend so I am not sure what the difference is. I went shopping last night and finally got something to wear to the wedding. We are just dressing casual. I'm wearing a nice shirt and some nice capris. Hubby wasn't going to get anything new but decided to get a new shirt to go with his black jeans. When we got home I had to do some laundry. During this time hubby discovered that my fish "Fin" was killed. He was the one that was getting picked on awhile back. He had started fighting back as of late. Now I'm wondering who my meany is. I know they are just fish but this one really bothers me. He was such a happy fish and made me smile. Now all the rest are under suspicion.

Sorry to hear about your fish dying.  The heat has gotten to all of us I guess, including the fish. 


Nice choice on the outfit for the wedding.  I went to a wedding a few weeks ago, did the same thing, wore white capris and a nice top. 


You know what I hate?  When you buy a cinnamon raisin bagel, and it tastes like the onion bagel in certain spots?  I know they must have had the bagels in the same bin or something, so I was very disappointed......

Woo I am sorry about the fish. What do you do with the deceased fish? Hope you have fun at the wedding.


 


Darlene- I hate that too. Last time I went to NY my dad gave me money to get him some onion and garlic bagels at some shop. I brought them on the plane as carry on. Everything in the compartment stunk- probably still do!

Right now they are small enough for a toilet flush which hubby handles. I just can't do it.

yahoo it's friday


and i have finished work for a week as does mark...and the kids finished school today and tomorrow we're going away for a week in the North East (I'll give you a wave Ultimo )


We're staying in a caravan!!! a big one... I haven't done that since i was knee high to a grasshopper!


But sadly, no Freeze Frame forum....


I will say farewell now...but I might be back briefly later....

Sorry about the fish, Woo.


Its a beautiful day here. 62° and we got about 1/2" rain last night. Everyone is in a great mood toady after living in that bar-b-que.

Not much special scheduled for me . . . just another day . . . a much cooler, more comfortable day.

Sorry to hear about your fish, Woo.

We got relief from the heat, but it came at a terrible cost. We had tornados touch down and nasty storms. My friend had a tree split down the middle and the left part of it fell on her house. Over 500,000 people without power and the heat was still there. One man died when he was clearing away brush and accidentally hit a live power line. Another person died from the heat as a result of the power being out. Our electric company has said it's the worst storm we've had in a long, long time. Our parking lot at work is littered with roof pieces. We got lucky at home. We were the half of town that actually had power.

TGIF! Girl's night this weekend. Can't wait.
