when the station gets big, I think I'll take the 3rd shift slot- do like a 10 till 6 thing....riggs can do the breakfast club in the morning then. that'd be fun! all kinds of crazy stuff goin down overnight at the freeze frame!!

back in the 70s there was a little broadcast radio station in a Milwaukee suburb that was actually a converted house on top of a hill. WZMF. It was brilliant- genre free radio- they just played music they liked- djs had total control.....it was really a big 24 hr hippy hang out. The later into evening, the weirder the music and djs got... I remember being little and watching my older cousins using tin foil to make a bigger radio antanae so that ZMF would come in. My uncle would get mad when he'd come home and the radio had been futzed with "tuned to THAT CRAP!!!" LOL...


That's what the College Daze Revisited is going to be "ALL THAT CRAP!!!" I'm gonna call my uncle and tell him to tune in!

I'm excited for it Ally. We tried doing some late night syndicated stuff in the past just to keep Sunday nights as completely unique programming, but that hadn't panned out thus far....so I can really dig deep into the archives and get to all that really off the wall stuff!

there is another show on local radio on sunday nights where its experimental music, which I was oddly addicted to years ago. BUT the problem is is that there is a lack of variety. The guy would stick with 1 artist the entire show, and if that artist was a glass-smasher, well then here is 2 hrs of glass smashing.....it got old!!! I'll raise the bar a bit.....a bit!
