Sparky having a dream about Ruby and Woo got me to thinking it might be fun to create a list of indications that you might be a FFR forum addict. Plese feel free to add your own.
You might be a FFR Forum addict if:
1. You have ever had a dream about other forum members 2. You have accidently used your forum name in real life 3. You get up in the morning and check the forum before your email 4. Something funny happens and your first thought is "I gotta go post this!" 5. You feel depressed when you check the forum and there are no "new" icons. 6. Your name is Allycat 7. You've ever taken your laptop with you to the bathroom so you wouldn't miss anything 8. You constantly figure out new ways to check the forum without being detected by the man! 9. You don't play on the weekend, but you wonder how everyone is doing 10. You've talked about people in the forum as if they were any other friend when talking to your friends or family 11. You have a plan to alert the forum should anything ever happen to you 12. You take a stuffed penguin on your vacations 13. You were upset because you weren't going anyplace special TO take the penguin on vacation with you 14. You haven't talked to a close family member in two weeks but start to get worried if a particular forum member hasn't checked in by 10:00am 15. You See License Plates That Remind You Of Forum Members 16. You change your forum avatar more often than you change your underwear 17. You have to put in overtime because you spent 2 hours on the forum 18. You work overtime and still spend it checking the forum 19. You check in on the forum while you are on vacation 20. You see events in your area and think "Hey, JD should definitely come to this! 21. You prefer online parades over actual parades 22. If you stay up late just because you can't drag yourself away form the forum, even if you have to get up early the next day 23. If your trying to watch a 2 hr movie and it takes 4 hrs to watch because you have to get up every 15 minutes to check the forum 24. If you think you learned everything you need to know about life from the forum 25. If you come in just to say hi and go over to the counting thread to practice your numbers 26. when you hold grill-outs, you broadcast them online so everyone on the forum can participate 27. If you drove past machinery (bobcat) that had a number on it and thought " Dang that would make a good picture for the counting thread! " 28. When you hear a radio commercial on the way into work and you think "Man that kinda sounded like MzHartz!" 29. You realize it is two minutes before the hour so you rush to your computer to vote for FFR so you can vote twice in just a few minutes.
8. You've talked about people in the forum as if they were any other friend when talking to your friends or family.
I've done this on several occassions and forgotten to use the real name, so I'll tell someone "Well I was talking to my friend Webguy", or "Well my friend Woo Hoo was saying that..." and I get the oddest looks
