I think I complained about this the other day. I keep getting a reminder notice on my computer, multiple times a day, to register a program. From what I can find this program is not on this pc. Does anyone know how I would go about getting rid of this message? It's driving me crazy!

It's MSN Content Plus. I believe it's for MSN messenger which you know I don't have. I just have Trillian. It's telling me I have like 25 days to register this. Then it pops up and wants me to enter a product number.

It looks like that is a bundle of Messenger extras like extra smilies, winks, etc.
Try this:
Hit: ctrl-alt-delete
That will bring up the task manager.
In the task manager, go to the "Processes" tab.
Scroll down through there and look for a process called "msnappm.exe". If you find it, click once on it and then select "End Process". See if that stops the popups . . . if so, that is the one doing it but it will come back the next time you reboot.
Lets start there and see if that stops the popup. If so, then we'll try to figure out where it is getting started at reboot.
Go to "My Computer" and then the hard drive and then into the Windows folder. If you get the warning about "Don't go here!" ignore that and go on in there anyway.
In the Windows folder, look for that same file name: msnappm.exe
WEB! I looked further under windows since it didn't go away. The file msnlogm has an original name of MSNAPPm.EXE and the other file msnlogs.exe original name is msnapps.exe.
