Sunday Night Live Programming on FFR!!

We invite you to tune into a fun night of live broadcasting here at Freeze Frame Radio, each Sunday evening! Wind down your weekend with us!!

Starting at 5 pm CST, Jeremy Riggs goes live and does an hour of 10 Degrees, T-10, or Back To The Future!

10 Degrees explores the relationships between 10 different artists and/or songs. This show is choc- full of interesting connections, musical history, the songs, and a bunch of rare and interesting facts about the music you love here on the station! (Kudos and thanks to Freeze Frame forum member Lady Strange for her input and direction!!)

T-10 goes back and presents to you the top 10 songs on the Billboard chart from the current week from a year in the 1980's. Its a fun trip back through memory lane, the music and artists you grew up with, and where they were on the charts back when.

Back to the Future was the first live dj program ever to air on Freeze Frame! Jeremy Riggs plays classic songs from well-known and loved 80's artists, and then brings us up to date with their current musical releases. A visit to then and now!!

At 7 pm CST, JD hosts Underground 80's. This is a musical exporation through New Wave, Punk, Goth, Rockabilly, and alternative music which made up the underground scene in the 1980's. This was the music that the kids with the blue mohawks and bauhaus t-shirts were listening to on their sony walkmans at the bus-stop in the mid-80s. A non-charting, brilliant music revolution revisited!

At 8 pm CST, join us for Jazz 101. For 2 hrs, we turn down the lights, we mellow out, & we throw on the perfect music to bust out and delve into that book that you've been meaning to read or write. The perfect soundtrack to some quality "you" time as you wind down on Sunday night. Grab a glass of wine, light some candles, shut out the rest of the world for awhile, and get jazzed!!

At 10 pm CST, join us for an hour or so of College Daze Revisited!! Genre Free Radio! If its good or interesting, we will play it! Experiemental music, Trance, World music, spoken word, Buddhists chants, local milwaukee artists, odd fusion like Frank Zappa, Sun Ra.....we become a good old fashioned college music station- anything goes!!

We hope that you will join us Sunday Nights for a fun, fun night of music!!

too many... Our work weeks run Sunday to Saturday and I have to do 5 of the 7. It just ran into too many days in a row this time because of the days I need off for little A. Next week I took off an extra day to use my paid holiday for July 4th.  I am required to do one sunday a month and this is it. It should be a pretty good day this time, its just me and my friend at work that day so I might be able to play.

hi A-cat....how are you after your brush with wildfire nearby? What do you do for a living? Hope you can tune in on Sunday. Like you, I may not be able to because Sunday night I'm usually ready to fall over after being a weekend warrior.

Hi cheeselvr, I am much better the report on the fire tonight is 80% contained and pretty well under control. Its over 3000 acres,  I drove by tonight and just picture 3 miles of hillside gone its all black and the tree are just empty black sticks. Its really ugly, but 500 homes were in danger and only 7 burned. They did an awsome job! I am an optician/sales supervisor at a LensCrafters .

For my show it looks like another T10, or maybe something totally different. JD hasn't shown his cards yet. Which is unusual. But I think he was preoccupied with his parents 40'th anniversary

JD would you ever consider doing a heavy metal underground night? Maybe they are not really underground, but Riggs is trying to keep this family friendly during the day and I would love to hear some Metallica, Megadeath, Anthrax, Iron Maiden and such... I can even send you an hours worth of music

its not my first choice of music ruby, and one time on und 80s I played really heavy metal grunge stuff and people kinda fled. BUT if you were to send me an hours worth of songs you'd like to do, I would do this show! Even tho its not a part of our regular programming, it would be good to have some metal tracks like this in our library, just to have.

I am running out of theme ideas for my shows, so this would be a good one to do!

I could send you 10,000 hours worth of that stuff!

If you go for it, and you need anything, please let me know.  The collection is crazy.

LS, maybe we could colloborate and send 30 minutes in each! But I am hesitant cause I think metal is too underground
