As you were grillin' your dinner, we were riding on this thing at a pace of 18.5 miles/second. Yes, that is per second. Every second of every day of every year, we clip along at 18.5 miles/second around that big ball of fire called the sun. AND! that is ONLY in relationship to the sun . . . that's not even figuring in the speed of our entire solar system within the galaxy.

And some of you may have though that nothing important happened today . . . Pfft.

tonight after the big shows, I might have to pull out the ol' telescope and point it at the moon. I find it always amazing, the almost constant need to readjust to keep it centered .

that is due to the earth rotating! talk about gettin dizzy in the universe!

Well. I certainly over-ate today. I must have had two dozen shrimp. This time I went for all shrimp, NO FILLERS like potatoes or bread. Even skipped desert just to have SHRIIIIIIIIIIMP!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
