Looking at all the pics of everyone kids, I started thinking that I might post a pic of her. So I thought I would check and see if I her pic was visible on MySpace. I figured if it was, then hubby couldn't yell if he found out I did so. The girl does not know I have a MySpace page yet. I kinda like her thinking I don't know my way around it.
Anyways she does know that we log in as her to occasionally to see what's up with her page. She has a private page due to her age. Anyways I decided to take a look. i don't have her password here with me, but I know her email address so I got to see the main page. The girl changed her name to some kinky crap! i showed hubby and told him that i guess we will be logging in tonight when we get home. He is not happy!

Having a 20 year old w/ a Myspace page I know what you are going thru. I read how she and friends did shots, (she's only 20) had fun partying etc..... and if you look at her picture, she looks over 20 if you ask me.
I just make sure she informs me of who and what she is doing. And if there is alcohol consumption she is to STAY PUT!! No matter what their age is, you never stop worrying about them.
My sister's 13 now, (she's almost like a daughter or neice to me), and that's one thing I'm worried about. My mom and stepdad don't know much about the web or what's out there, and I'm not around to monitor. I can only imagine what type of trouble she's getting into. I've tried to warn her, but I'm not sure if it's sunk in yet.
After reading previous post, I know it sounds wrong that I say I want to know who or what she is doing. Looks like I am saying I want to know who she is doing. What I mean is who she is with, what is she doing..... My Bad.
the girl lives with her mother who dosen't know squat about computers. I've been doing the maintenance on theirs. So I don't put much faith in her. She is also a pushover. The girl was not even suposed to be on MySpace. You're supposed to be 14.

just remember, at least 1/2 the stuff they post is toro poo poo (bulls#!t). it's just a matter of sorting out the crap from fact. if you really know your kid it's not hard to figure out. i stay on top of my son's xanga site too. i guess since we live out in the sticks and i don't let him have a life, i don't worry too much. i know in a few years when he's driving, that will all change

well i finally got on the girls myspace. And I'm glad to report that we found no further problems with it. Teenager stuff only. Dad will just have to talk to her about them few keywords she has by her name. We really wouldn't be concerned with what she has but IT does show on her main profile page when you search. So that's not good. Kinky and Skanky is not cool. It's like hello all sickos come find me!
But all and all, she's in the clear.

I'm more of a detective than a spy I think. Glad it wasn't as bad as you thought. I think back to some of the things I got away with when I was a kid and I feel bad for my parents.
