ok here's the spring picture of my step-daughter. She will be 14 Aug 4th. I think she is going on her 2nd set of terrible two's. Pouting and tantrums.    For the most part she IS a good kid. But she IS a teenager. We don't know why she feels the need to crinkle up her nose like a bunny. We tease her about it all the time.

We don't know why she feels the need to crinkle up her nose like a bunny. We tease her about it all the time.


Maybe because bunnies are cute (and so is she!)

I love her hair.  I wish I had locks like that, nice, full and thick.  And the color is beautiful.  I am guessing it's natural.  Unlike me.  I have to spend a ton of money to keep my hair looking somewhat nice, and hide the gray.

she just had highlights in her hair. now she is dying her hair. i don't know why.


The crinkle of her nose -she doesn't realize that she does it. It's just funny!

she's a cute girl, I agree you guys are in for it. She looks alot like a girlfriend of mine when we were that age. She was always in trouble with the boys, well I guess I was too but we won't talk about that. LOL

i have yet to see a pic of the new guy she is crushin' on. Her last boyfriend was kinda dweeby IMO. And not very smart. The girl always commented on that.

I could NEVER be a father. If my daughter looked like that I'd have to move my family to a mountain top, install an electrified fence, and sit awake at night in the guard tower with a rifle!

Sure, you can teach them the right way, but when they got 100 guys pounding at their door eventually one of them is gonna get through That's where Dad comes in. Once that boy makes it past the fenceline he's in my sites and about to become swiss cheese!

Sounds a little like you are talking about the act of conception there Riggs, basically it starts right there from the beginning.

Woo, my sister (who's probably reading this right now) puts some questionable stuff on her MySpace page too. And her friends, iy yi yi, scarifying!

Of course the difference is Erica is 23 years old and can do what she wants.

With your daughter, you just GOTTA GOTTA GOTTA make sure she understands that while it may just be goofiness to her, to some hormone crazed guy it may not be and could get her into some ugly situations!

It was so much easier when you actually had to MEET people to meet people

we tell her and tell her. But because she is a teenager we get the eyeroll and the "I know"s. I trust her to an extent. But I also know what I did when I was her age. Crap I started smoking when I was 13! And today unfortunately is so different then when we grew up. So many predators.
