We were talking about this last week, and I had a frightening example of how I've spent too much time on the forum lately occur yesterday afternoon.

I went into the dispatch office to pick up my check and my new route sheets. Attached to my check was a memo from the big cheeses that run the joint telling us that a guy who had been there from the start, his name was Pat, had unexpectedly resigned the previous day and was no longer an employee.

They included a paragraph from his resignation in which he apologized for leaving abruptly but he felt he would only be a detriment to the organization if he stayed for a two week notice.

The memo just seemed fishy. Like they wanted to make sure we knew there was no internal trouble that led to his departure, yet his comments suggested maybe there was something funny going on.

At any rate, I'm standing around with two other drivers and one of them said something like "odd about Pat huh?" to which I replied "RIGHT NOW I'M WONDERING WHAT REALLY HAPPENED".

To this other driver it just sounded like an odd way to talk, but I immediately realized I was talking as if I were typing in the right now forum I'll be checking into Bellview Mental Hospital now, I hope to see you all real soon!
