What a day at the ol' Breakfast Bingo! They're gonna start asking us not to come anymore
First, my Mom had the day off of work so she came with us. She won the pull-tab drawing! That's where everyone buys a ticket or two and they put em' in a big hopper, they draw two of the tickets and the winners get pull tabs and a gift certificate. The odds are about 1 in 200 and she won!
So she got a $25 gift certificate which paid for her bingo and $85 in pulltabs! After we pulled em' all (nearly 160 pull tabs) she only won $60 in cash, but not bad!
Second from last bingo game yours truly wins the game! That was a $200 prize.
Afterward we hit the slots, I did ok on a couple machines, playing about even, before hitting 1200 quarters on one and deciding to get the hell out of there while I was so far up!
Erica was having a bad day, until about 5 minutes before we left when she hit $200.00 on a nickel machine to wind up about $150.00 ahead for the day!
NOW DAT'S THE WAY TO TREAT THOSE INDIAN TRIBES!!!
Who want's to come with Erica and I next Wednesday? We seem to be on a hot streak and we'd be happy to share it with you guys!
Not usually Sparky. I usually lose $20, $40 even $60 in an hour or so.
But I guess if every couple weeks you hit a decent jackpot then the other weeks are ok.
I had sworn off Potowatami Casino for YEARS until Erica talked me into breakfast bingo. But I gotta say in the five or six weeks we've gone there is no doubt I'm well ahead. So it's all good.
When I was in Deadwood I thought their slots were VERY loose. I did so well on the nickels slots there I couldn't believe it.
I can't wait to go back! I'm gonna stay at the Bullock Hotel again, see if I can get the suite in the front for a couple nights! When would you say is a better time to visit the area? Fall or Spring? I mean as far as fewer tourists and better weather?
Definately Fall, everyone has had their vacations and are on their way home by then. Spring time is usually very busy. Riggs are you bringing Mom or Erica?

Well you should at least get to know them before talking about them that way Sparky.
Darlene, its funny how true that really is! You should see the nut jobs there rubbing and caressing and sweet talking the machines before they pull that handle. I had to move one night because this ladies ritual was to nock on the machine three times before hitting the button.

No, I doubt it. To be honest a trip that long with my mother would probably drive me nuts. I love her like she were my own mother (cus she is), but 10 hours in a car with her probably wouldn't be a good thing
It'll just be me. I want to look for land and/or homes in Edgemont or Hot Springs, but of course a few days will HAVE to be spent in Deadwood

ABSOLUTELY! That would ROCK! We could treat those slots like they were ATM machines and then go to the Wild Bill Saloon and start us a bar fight!!! (if we can find some small guys we think we can take)
