OK! THIS SUCKS!

Sorry to Cheese in advance cus she's gonna think I'm moaning and groaning AGAIN.

But not even FIVE MINUTES into the first episode of season two of Bufffy and my portable DVD player dies!

I've been on here every frickin' night so I never get to watch it, and I finally decide to go watch it and it's DEAD! Apparantly the battery drains even when it's not being played!

Another BUFFY FREE NIGHT!!!

I guess. Karma huh?

It wouldn't be so bad but I bought a cheapo player and the AC plug stopped working about two months after I got it.

Actually the plug must be fine, because it charges the battery, but the player is supposed to be able to run on it too and it doesn't

Yes I can JD, but I can't do that in bed. I like to lie in bed and watch an episode. It's a nice way to fall asleep.

You know, I haven't had a single Buffy dream You would THINK that would do the trick right? No, instead I dream about Web and his house of electronic gizmos

My DVD player starts up now! You think there's any chance it got enough juice while I chatted with you guys to run for 50 minutes?

Aw hell, it's almost 1 Am now, I won't watch the show tonight anyway

That happened to us last week. Our DVD player can no longer "find" the DVDs. Luckily, we have the PS2, so we can still watch DVDs, but for some reason, I can't get the sound to go through the stereo, so we get the crappy sound just coming out of the tv speakers.

There are some things I'm good at, but hooking up electronics to a stereo system is not one of them. Would someone like to come over to my house and help me out?

Nah, no need to apologize in advance for using the word "frickin" for the 800th time to vent your frustration...I understand. But to compensate I think you should express one positive thought to counterbalance the negative one....how about you explain to me (and all else) why you are so into that show? WHo is it or what is it you like so much? Is it that Hannigan chic? Or that blonde....whats her name

cheese, they are probably a few pages back, but we have a "things I love" thread and "things I hate" thread too. It seems most folks try to go for balance....for each thing you hate, you should find something you love. I know MzHartz usually tries to do this, for one. Its hard to do somedays....

You knocked Woo right over! She's a huge fan of that show (obviously from her avatar).

You know, I never watched a MINUTE of it, EVER. I thought it looked stupid. Vampires. Bah, I like stuff that can actually happen.

But Woo and Anf just talked about it relentlessly on the forum and I started to get curious.

My second favorite sitcom on TV right now is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and I really think Lilly (Hannigan) is cute. When Woo used an Avatar of Willow and I found out she was played by Hannigan that was enough to put me over the edge and give it a shot.

So now I'm just watching an episode every night or two before bed. It's a pretty cool show. I'm enjoying it a lot. Although surprisingly Hannigan has been the least enjoyable character so far.

NOW, for my POSITIVE though, my favorite show is "Two & A Half Men", I think it's GREAT!

You think I'm a pretty negative guy don't you? I'm really not. Ask JD, I'm a very upbeat guy. The griping is just my schtick

No, Mister Riggs- I just kid around about your negativity. I think it's great to be passionate about whatever you're into (or not). Otherwise it'd be pretty boring.

What else would we all have to talk about. Here's another thing I don't get: How come there are like 88098 views of our posts but like 2 or 3 actual responses?

Who the hell are these num-nuts who like to read and not participate? I liken them to those people who like to watch other people in the act0 voyeur (I know I misspelled it).

What's up with that?? Can anyone get on here and read without signing up?

NOW YOU'RE STARTING TO SOUND LIKE ME!!!!

Yes, anyone can read the forum without posting, and we have a LOT of lurkers.

The views are always waaaaaay more than the post count. I think we have about 1.5 million views right now and only about 130,000 posts.
