I've been on and off of hold for the last 30 minutes with my bank!

Third month in a row they "accidentally" charged me account fees.

Anyone know a good bank?

OH NO! You guys actually still got switch board operators out there! They listen in on the calls you know!!! Maybel is all up in your business!

I just finished my phone call with them. They apparantly made changes to the account that made it have fees, but they're gonna delete them for the third month in a row and essentially change the name of the account from "Convenience Checking" to "Free Checking". How nice

JUST GIMME BACK MY DAMN MONEY!!!

Aw crap, now Cheese is gonna see this and think I need Anger Management classes again. I hope she catches on pretty soon that most of what I say is tongue in cheek

Riggs I'd go to the bank itself to deal with this. I had a similar issue and face to face was the only way I got it resolved.

I'm actually getting 4.4% on my Money Market, that isn't bad. So I'm happy about that.

And this is a really nice smaller bank with personal service. But I get very annoyed when they try to slide a fee in that you know you're not supposed to get.

They're just figuring a lot of people won't notice or will think they were supposed to be charged.

The guy is from Milw, Wisc.....  you got to see the story to believe it.  His friend's family had a bank, and they would let him withdraw money that he didn't have to gamble with... 


I know I could walk away from 7 million dollars on the blackjack table.

I'm with you JR, I've never found a bank I was entirely happy with. I thought I did once, but then they started charging me fees and wouldn't refund them.

Me neither- my current bank is ok and has many branches that are open great hours, but our free checking costs me 6 a month and our business account is another 8
