As a longtime listener (but short time forum user) I've seen some musical trends over the years. Just curious...who loves Cher's "Walking in Memphis?" I'd like to thank them, because I like her version better.

Does anyone else wonder who requests which songs? How can you NOT be curious?

Anyone ready to 'fess up if asked?

aw cheese, I have only been able to really listen in days at work a couple of days ago...I could not believe all the stuff that I heard that I was not familiar with thats requested. it was GREAT! Horizons expanded exponentially!!

Foreigner is classic. Funny how that song " I wanna know what love is" kind of made some people think they were soft.....it was good stuff. BUt I guess not if you were an extreme metal head.

Any extreme metalheads out there wanna jump in?

I hate that, wait, not hate, I am DISAPPOINTED when artists are held up to some silly responsibility to put out a certain sound.

There's no reason a great group like Foreigner can't throw out a super sappy love song now and then. That song was a guerilla! It was GREAT. But you're right, I know a lot of their fans were disappointed by it.

I'm with you, Cheese.  I put my name on all of my requests.  I AM NOT ASHAMED! 


I'm always trying to get requesters to do the same, but alas...  people just don't always listen to me...  If you put your name as the requester, you need to put a little something in the body of the request, or it won't take in the system.  That's why I put .. or some people put a smiley face, etc.


I am absolutely thrilled to talk about any request, band, etc., so as far as my requests go, feel free to ask away!
