I'm SO excited!!! I'm going to the Horrorfind Convention tomorrow in Baltimore... and didn'tt hink Id' have time to get a costume of Invader Zim together for my tyke but I did it!! I decided to put it together after I found out that all the kids in the costume contest, regardless of winning or not, get a certificate signed by all the judges - and the judges are all horror authors and actors!!! That's as good as any prize, IMHO!

So here it is, I still have to add the antennae and cut out the lower teeth... I'll have final pictures of her in it at the convention Monday. But I'm so excited it turned out, I had to share!

Good Morning Zim!  I wish your little tike on the competition tomoorow, it sounds like a lot of fun!!  I used to live in Baltimore.  How is the weather there?

Thanks WAAY - The weather is nice now... it was sweltering for a while there, but we got some cooling t-storms yesterday so now we're in the 80's and the sky is blue! And not that hazy gray....

Very cool!  I've gone to "Chiller" conventions, which seem to be very similar.


I checked out the website, and it looks like they have some good guests lined up.  Hey - Give Rutger Hauer a kiss for me!  He was so awesome in "Ladyhawke"; one of the most romantic movies I've ever seen.  Sigh...
