Morning dear Freeze Framers


A grey day here in Purgatory (sp)...but there is light ahead.......My kids go away for a week shortly, I'm just off to meet my ex and deliver them then bak home....later Sunday lunch - going out for that and then Woo Hoo i get to take my mum back to hers....Yippee Pip Pip Hurray

 Morning all, very quiet here this AM .Guess the tourists took the weekend off as normaly the bike / jogging  path *would have a bit of activity but alas there is none . 


 * it's kinda nice  to sit out front with a cup of joe and watch the girls .... bounce ? by. lol


 I've often wondered what the long term effects would be . ( black eyes usually go away in a week or so ). Seems that riding a bike would be better ( well for them anyway )

Morning all- had a good time at dad's yesterday- the house is beautiful and the pool was perfect. We actually hung out in the jacuzzi most of the time. My dad does not look so good though- very swollen feet and ankles, sores all over his arms and he can't walk very good at all. He is meeting with a neurosurgeon to have a third back surgery.

Anyway- need to get out and hit the mall- boy needs more new school clothes and a backpack.

I slept REALLY REALLY late But I couldn't fall asleep til about 4 AM. I guess I shouldn't have taken a nap yesterday afternoon.

Now I got a ton to do and not a lot of time to do it before the shows start at 5.

Actually I think it's the fact that I WASN'T a lazy bum yesterday that led to my being so exhausted and over-tired. I really did a lot of running all day. And then I totally over-did it on my exercising in the early afternoon. When I got done with the slam man I had to sit down I actually thought I might pass out, everything was spinning From now on I'm only doing 2 or 3 things a day (exercise wise, not errand wise), yesterday I did all five of the exercise stuff I've been doing and pretty much did it all in a straight 3 hours or so. It felt good, but coupled with a pretty light day of eating it really got to me.

SO I DESERVED TO SLEEP IN TODAY!!!!

Besides, Consuela will take care of the cleaning when she gets here later.

Hey Mz, if you want to send us some copy to read that weekend of July 23'rd please do so! We'll mention the fund drive throughout the day and the shows.

If I get the day off JD is talking about maybe stopping in for the morning stuff too!

Who know's, we might raise a little cash for you guys.

We can even set up a quick order page and send the non-forum folks to that if they're interested.

I think JD fired her...she was getting into the closet and saw the helium tank he hooked to Roberts O2 tank......she was a threat to his master plan.

The cash is always good for the kids. I think we've got a patient in Wisconsin now. Would you like to donate the money to that kid, or just to COTA in general to disperse through all the patients?

You gonna do some sound stuff? That would be cool! If we can get the mixer in by then maybe we can have you on the air live. I'll order it later today. I'm just not sure if it's gonna work, but Web says it should.

You can make the decision on where it goes. I don't think a Wisconsin kid is gonna get more people interested. But then again maybe the fact it's for one specific person would give us the opportunity to tell his story and tug at the heartstrings more than just a general "help the kids" plea would.

What do you think?

I was thinking of calling in, if you've got that system up and running.

I've got a bunch of good stories for our patients, so it doesn't have to be just one. And I can't remember which patient is in WI right now, so it might not be the best story to use anyway.

Alright!

Well, I really hope we can do something during the morning too, when we have the bigger audience.

I know people don't like to open their pocket books, and considering how small our audience is I'm not expecting we'll get much, but I'm kind of hoping to at least break $100.00. Not much, but it helps right? If a lot of the forum members get in on it then maybe we can do better than that.

Every little bit counts! Yeah, an ordering page would be good, and maybe a link to a donor card. Then even if we don't raise a lot of money, we're still raising awareness.
