That's funny, as I cut some carrots for lunch I flashed back to how exciting it was to take the top of the carrot and put it in a bowl or something and then place it in the window. Each day it would grow. Ah, science.

In grade school we had a boy's side and girl's side of the playground. You'd better not cross the line! (Milwaukee Public Schools, 1966)

The way people used to dress to go to movies, bowling or even working around the house.

Make the evening his, never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you????

Be a little gay, and a little more interesting for him.  His boring day my need a lift, and one of your duties is to provide it?

Ok, I'll be gay....... that is too funny.

Well that's not surprising JD, but on the other hand I am sure that it's not too far off from what they did want to publish back in 1955.

My grandmother used to have a can next to the stove that she poured her bacon grease into, and when she needed to fry up anything she'd take a spoonful out and cook it up.  This was in the 60's and 70's. And she and her my grandfather lived to their mid 80's.  Talk about how people used to live then compared to now??

My mom did that, but to occasionally pour some over the dog's food - not hers.
