At least two of our ladies are sick.

I hope you can get to feeling better soon!

Very cool day here. 58 now and not looking for a high over 70. What a difference a week can make.

I think I should do a bunch of billing today. Looks like I better if I'm going to be able to pay my pile of bills.

We have a day off today - August bank holiday Most places are shut today though many shops are open these days for reduced hours

Hi Pip,

It was an ok day. I got picked on, but it was done in fun and I survived. My dad and his wife were in for supper (dinner) last night. I think my turning 40 was bothering my dad more than me . . . his youngest child is now 40.

I took the day off of my APD desk job to work at the golf course today.   There is an outing, so I am just checking in with you all.  I will be driving around in the beer cart most of the day, hitting all the guys out there playing.  What a job????  Where can you go out in the beautiful weather, drive around with beer and meet men who want you.  (They only want what I have not want me!)  The beer cart is probably the best job out there, when you work at a golf course.

I am VERY jealous Darlene. I drove the beer cart at a golf outing once, what a blast. No worrying about your game, just shooting the bull with all the other golfers while having a few brews.

Although you're actually an employee so I suppose you can't drink eh?

It's a shotgun start at noon EST, so right now they are eating lunch, and ordering from the bar.  Where I am right now.  After they all get started, I'll be heading out for tips!!!  No drinking and driving for me today.  I have to come back in and work behind the bar at the end of their golf.  Beer anyone ??
