Well schools are open for three hours only. Trying to figure out when the daycare closes before I get ready for work- won't go that far for a few hours. Well I will go and get some coffee and wait!

Morning, Day three of trying to get caught up after vacation. Yesterday I sat thru what had to be the worst wholesaler meeting in the world! I don't think it was even worth the free lunch. I bet the guy said the word whore and a pot to pi$$ in at least a hundred times through out his presentation.

Tropical storm Ernesto is coming here tomorrow, so they think. The schools are shelters, so they close early today to prepare for tomorrow. I am not sure yet, but all schools should be closed here tomorrow. Just to be safe.

Wow, Ally at 7:30? I don't think that has ever happened before.

Sheesh, I am such a woman this morning. I took the boy to school as I've been doing for a week and a half, but for some reason, it got to me today. On the way there, I saw one little boy leaving home on his bike with mom standing at the door watching him ride down the driveway and turn on the sidewalk toward school. We got to school and I started paying attention especially to all the littlest kids as they were going in. For some, it was obvious that they were still a little nervous, scared and shy. Others you could see the pride as they walked themselves inside . . . with no need to look back at mom/dad one last time. One little girl stopped to tie her shoe and as we walked by, she looked up at me, smiled and just said "hello".

Phew, I gotta go spit, scratch or do something manly . . . this just ain't right.
