I just got done watching this movie.....it makes Freddy Krugger and Jason Voorhees look like babysitters.


Has anyone else seen this?

Nope, stay away from them for the most part! I did like Saw, but did not want to see the second one! are you recommending it?

Only if you can stomach it! It was recommended to me, and I like Horror movies, but on a gory scale I think it rates at about a 10.

Yeah it seems to take a lot more to scared kids these days! They have to see stuff- the music was always enough to freak me out! That and the suspense. Today they want gore

Emily is learning to spell her name! I am sooooo excited! She has the first two and the last down pat- she is struggling with the "il", she thinks the l is a one! But it is amazing to watch her learn!

That's cool! Grammy was spelling out Allison's name and when it came to the last one A goes NNNNNNNNN. We all got really quiet and it was one of those "Holy Cow" moments.  You are so right about the proud learning moments.

I am trying at home to not push her- I did not with the boy either. I am not a teacher anyway and would not know where to start. We read and play, but the teaching will happen at school. She seems to be picking up stuff quickly and retaining it. Seems like both my kids have my gift of learning and retaining! I am glad.

Yes LS the remake, not the 1977 Wes Craven Classic with the principal from the Motley Crue video.

I did see this movie however it was when it first came out.  I remember that it had some really gory parts.  I liked Saw 2 and liked it better than the 1st one.  Please do not see "Silent Hill" if you haven't seen it yet, it was so slow and very little horror to it.  I love horror movies!!  It takes alot to scare me in them though.

ok i will give my opinion when we see "Silent Hill" but it may be awhile. We don't get to sit down and watch movies too often.

There is a good movie on the Lifetime channel this month that is really good that is called "Trophy Wife".  It is about a strong widow that is being accused of killing her estranged husband and she is being blackmailed by the actual killer.  It is really good try to see it if you get the chance.
