Insomnia is a bad bad thing.

It seems to come and go with me. I'll sleep like a rock for a few days, then I can't sleep at all for a few days.

Hey I've been meaning to ask you Ultimo, does it really rain a lot over there and is it foggy a lot?

All the old movies I see about London make it seem like it's always rainy and foggy. Kind of like Seattle here in the states where it rains like 280 days a year.

Yeah, that's true.

The only place I've ever heard is supposedly PERFECT is San Diego California here in the states.

I have met SO many people that have told me the exact same thing. Always sunny, hardly ever rains, perfect 72 degrees year round.

I always thought it would be neat to live in Seattle for the rain. I love rain. I suppose I'd get sick of it when you have 30 straight days with nothing but rain, but for a year or so I think I'd love it.

I like that it stops things, but not as completely as a snowfall (which can be REALLY cool if it's a good one).

But it's like suddenly cars slow down, people stay in and the world slows down a little.

Then there's the rhythm of it hitting the window or the roof. The fresh smell in the air. NO FLYING BUGS! It's just all good. I'd take a cool rainy day over a hot sunny day anytime!

Usually I don't like snow because I hate driving in it.

But when you JUST GET DUMPED ON, and there's nothing you can do about it, then it's like being six years old again and I just wanna get outside and play! Of course, neighbors would look at me oddly if I actually PLAYED in it, so I shovel, but what they don't know is that I'M LOVING IT!

And yeah, the big huge flakes that take forever to get to the ground are the best! You look up at the sky and it looks like the opening scene in Star Wars with all the stars zooming toward you!

I loved taking the puppy out for the first snowfall, she was FREAKING OUT! I bet it's fun with Allison too hey? Was she old enough to get excited about snow last winter?

has JD ever started an umbrella parade? I think we need one of those, I bet there's a lot of cool ones out there.

I recall seeing a really neat one a few months ago but I don't recall if it was in a "parade", or in real life. That's pretty sad huh?
