Not fun Ultimo...Anyways they left fairly soon.


My youngest has gone now too...and although I kept smiling I had tears on the edge of my eyes just waiting to fall off...which they did eventually.


It's crazy...she's dead excited and happy...and I'm happy for her but I sit amidst tears lol.


I didn't cry when either of them started school lol

I'm looking at titles of threads that happened over the two days I was gone but I'll never be able to read them all.

Looks like we are going to spend this labor day at home.

Tuesday morning. But she's already arranged to have a plumber here by Tuesday morning at 10 AM to replace the water heater. Til then it's living like the old days, warming hot water on the stove and pouring it into the sink to washup and shave and stuff.

Once a day I'm zipping over by Mom's for a shower too.

Landlady offered to pay for a couple nights in a hotel, I shoulda said ok and then got the president suite at the Hilton

She might have a valid debate on the traveling expenses though. She never said anything about that. UNLESS, perhaps I could get the hotel in SD to send a car for me and include it on the bill?!?
