Hey JD- I actually didn't go to Burlington. I went up to a few small towns west of Wausau (Abbotsbord - Colby - Dorchester) and I've never seen so many cows in my life! Enjoyed being with family and away from the big city. It was cool seeing my name in lights everywhere "Cheese"

Yeah, it was nice. I really want to get away to Green Bay/Fond Du Lac/Door County one of these weekends.


 


I did bring home some Swiss and had it for dinner tonight with my chicken.

Man, every little town in this state has a bar, a little grocery, a second hand store, and about three little cheese shops

I did green bay about 3 weeks ago, and thought, man I would like to take the ride up around these parts with no time-line and agenda, especially once the leaves start changing.


In Door County there is this apple orchard (forget the name) that grows the BEST apples I ever had- honey-crisp apples. And I am not even an apple fan. but these were other-wordly. So big, so sweet, so melt in your mouth good. I might have to take a ride up there myself and get a bag of these....never tried them before last year....I think they are a relatively new apple.
