I have been thinking about you ALL week as I'm driving around.
That XM Radio "It" thing I mentioned last week has moved onto the 80's channel now so I'm listening to it every day.
It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool! I feel like I've been living in 82 - 85 this week!
Like I said before, they are playing EVERY SONG to ever chart on the Hot 100 in the order it appeared on the charts! Along the way they have audio clips from the time-period, movie trailers and TV commercials from the time-period. It is so awesome it's unreal! And all commercial free! Just cruisin' through the hits!
They started with the 60's channel, then moved to 70's, now it's 80's. After they reach the end of the decade it kicks off on the 90's channel. Just such a cool, cool idea.
If they do this again I'm gonna buy a better receiver. They sell these ones that will record the songs you like, up to 40 hours worth! There are so many singles that are near impossible to find but they got em. I could really round out our collection by getting em' off XM.
Oh, another huge get for XM Radio, they got the rights to air all of Casey Kasem's Top 40 countdowns from the 70's and 80's commercial free!
Now why do they have me coming out of a happy, upbeat F#((*in' song INTO A LETTER ABOUT SOMEONES F(#$*$$%) CAT DYING!!!!!
