HOw Music Shaped a Generation on 9/11/01

As we all know. Monday is the 5 year Anniversary of the devestating attacks on our nation. killing more than 3000 innocent lives.

Music played a big part in the road to recovery and I thought it would be interesting to see the songs that were number 1 on September 11th.  While I am missing about 10 years worth I do apologize. This may not mean much to anyone but I just thought it would be different. JD and Riggs. I know you guys usually will be grilling out and just spending time with friends but maybe you can do a t-10 or something like that in a rememberance of 9/11. I know that I will be silent for that time period as it changed my life forever as I am sure it did many others. God Bless America and I hope that where ever you are today that you stop for a moment and say a prayer for those that are not here today.

Thump,

We werent' planning anything special, but the year after it happened I threw together a tribute song of sorts with sound bites from that day.

I always play it on September 11'th, usually every four hours or so.

That will be done again today.
