JD can give more details, but he borrowed my camera last week to try and get photo's of the sunrise over Lake Michigan and deer in the Glen by his apartment.

Unfortunately it's been cloud covered for a week around here and the deer were at a convention in Jersey





Sorry it took so long JD, I was gonna put em up earlier but then I realized I would need to resize them or they'd take up four monitors worth of space.

"Can you see the deer through the trees?"  They're probably there, just not visable JD.  Of course is hunting season, I'd be hiding too if I were a deer.

I know there's a bunch of deer up there, Darling. And I can feel there eyes on me even when I can't see them! that's my version of deer huntin right there- lookin for them in the glen! no guns!

and I thought is was just me that couldn't see the deer.....I tried my lower bi-focals, then the upper and amazingly, still no deer...oh well, but nice pics non-the-less!

If you look closely at the center of the photo of the Glen, and squint, I'm pretty sure there's a bear waiting up there for JD

You were right though Sparky. I blew it up a little in my photo-editor program and I can clearly see he's holding piano wire and duct tape. Definately the strangler. JD's lucky he made it out of there in one piece.

That's a good point MZ. I hadn't even thought of that but they would, expecially the glen one. If he gets some shots of that in fall with the leaves on the ground I might just use it as my desktop for a while!

You know, the more I look at it, that bears not even trying to hide. He's just standing there on the side of the path.

Maybe he's an employee of the glen, hired as sort of an information bear. Along your walk you can stop and he'll tell you a little history of the glen, right before HE EATS YOU!!!!!

Thanks for sharing JD- they are nice shots. I LOVE nature- it is always nice to have someplace to go and lose yourself in the earth!


You really need to buy your own camera though- they do not cost that much! And I do not know how I ever lived without one! The deleting and viewing make them worth every penny!

you know what'd be good would to see a GOOD Bears vs Packers match up. Either one or the other team has totally SUCKED whenever we played. No good match up teams for years and years!!
