I am currently grilling up a pork tenderloin marinaded in garlic & lemon, and some veggies- potatoes, mushrooms, red onion, and red pepper. garlic bread too.

its our first real nice day out in about a week- had to grill out! the days are numbered!


I really like the idea of tomato slices as a side like that.

I put salt on my grapefruit and everyone thinks I'm nuts. That's how I've always had it.

But tonight, I didn't have grapefruit, I made beef stew in the slow cooker. It came out yummy.

yeah I did try it once and didnt like it much. I could eat tomatoes everyday all day.

hey while we are talking food- can I just say how pumped I am for next week friday- in the studio with riggs, supportin COTA with the cookbook we've got goin, then the grill out that night? We are goin off!  For a day its the dream job we both dream of! Getting to be your djs for a day! it will be dangerous radio.

sure!


next weekend is COTA weekend- fund raising for the Childrens Organ Transplant Association- a lot of different events across the country raising money for the org. It has a special place in our heart, not only for the children in need of course, but because MzHartz is involved with this wonderful cause.


We put together a cookbook here at the station, which includes recipies that forum members here have sent in. We're gonna plug this on air next week friday, will have an ordering web-page set up; hoping that listeners will order one. All proceeds go to COTA.


So it will be me and Riggs in the studio, doing what we absouletly love to do, havin just a fun day of cranking tunes, bantering, plugging COTA, and havin a good time.


Later that night, cuz we both have the day off from our real jobs, we are just gonna have a good old fashioned FFR grill out. We invite every one to grill out somethin good, have us tuned in, and we eat together, a virtual picnic live on air,  have a drink or 4, and see what happens.


I can't wait!
