I was thinking tonight at how nice it is to tune into this station, and not get bombarded by advertising. Sure, we will plug a worthy cause, mention on air any business that posts a freeze frame poster...but pretty much the tunes go on and on, allowing you to enjoy them without interruption, unless its the welcomed ones of Riggs saying hello to you during the work week. we plug worthy causes, and small budget little businesses. Those that might otherwise go unheard..


I HATE radio and telivised advertising. I HATE THE CRAP THAT FILLS MY MAILBOX. I HATE SPAM.


I HATE WHEN I WANT TO WATCH A VIDEO CLIP ON CNN I NEED TO FIRST LOAD UP A CLIP OF SOME INNANE FR#$*)$*)(@*@"*!*& discussing his erectile disfunction. OMG I HATE ADVERTISERS. YOU IMAGE CONSCIOUS SH*T ON A SPOON FEEDING SELF RICHOUS #$&*!! 


GO TAKE YOUR HOPE FOR HEMMHOROID RELIEF AND GREAT TASTING LONG LASTING GUM ELSEWHERE!!!

Good point JD.

I will be glad when the current election is over. We have a nasty smear campaign going on between two running for state senator. Yesterday, the opponent ran a cartoon ad that was terrible. It was an animated cartoon farmer with a real picture of the incumbent's face on it. The song was the tune of "Old McDonald" but the words were changed singing about some personal tax he was supposedly avoiding or didn't pay years ago. I have to admit the cartoon was funny, but it seemed like very desparate, "last ditch" effort. Just tell us what you plan to fix, not what the other guy did wrong.

I agree Web, I hate campaign commercials!

I've also been getting calls from them lately. One was a local number that showed up on the caller ID, so I answered it. It was a democratic organization asking if I would do a "survey." I told them I was busy. Last night I got a call that showed up on the caller ID as "Grassroots Camp." I didn't answer it. I've also been getting calls from "Toll Free Number." Leave me alone!!!
