I think of the 1996 Green Bay Packers. I don't think there has been a better team since then!


A young Brett Favre protected by an awesome line-Frankie Winters at Center, Mark Chumura TE, William Henderson, Edgar Bennet and Dorsey Levens as our backs, Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman, Robert Brooks, Andre Rison- all perfect receivers.....


Oh and our defence, headed up by the great HALL OF FAMER Reggie White, oh it was like a steam-roller!!


Leroy Butler! George Koonce!!


Let us not forget Chris Jackie who got us in!!!


And the GREAT returns from Desmond Howard!! I have not seen anyone near his talent since!


Yep! if we could time travel, I'd bring this team out and field them this year....no one would stand a chance!! Best team ever!!!

Okay, maybe the song and video were a bit much, you can't deny the awesomeness of that team- McMahon. Payton, Fencik, Fridge, Iron Mike, and the rest- even Ditka- that was a dream team to never be repeated....

I will admit my favorite thing to watch of all time, EVER, is the Walter Payton NFL film. Well, ok, maybe next to the Ice Bowl, but that is just soooo inspiring. makes me feel I could kick-box a nuclear warhead and win!


But yea, Fridge was a gimmick. An effective gimmick, but I bet bears would have gone 4-12 without him.

You are probably right!

I guess for me to know each player by name and that they each have their own personality was awesome. Each member was a character in themselves. Most teams, you might know one or two, but that is it. They all had a role in the outcome and that is unique.
