Favorite Scary Movie?

Here's a site to jog your memory!

I think for my age and my religion, the Exorcist scared me more than anything!

I liked all the Silence of the lambs films, and like Ruby I found the Exorcist quite scary.

I guess I don't have a favorite scary movie. I love them though! But I totally loved the Nightmare On Elm Street series! I also have the Scream series but that's also funny. But I was one of the few that didn't like Silence Of The Lambs. No offense but I remember being bored.

My favorite scary movie would have to be the first The Ring. I like it for all the thought that went into it, the investigation parts, etc. I like knowing the history of the ghost/demon/monster. I didn't enjoy The Ring 2, it was too slasher movie-ish

But I guess I enjoy suspense/thriller movies more. That's what I consider Silence of the Lambs to be.

One film that really scared me at the time was The Blair Witch Project, that was a freaky film! I still feel a bit funny in woods even now!

There was a movie similar to the Blair witch but it was set up documentary style and at the end you find out that the narrator was actually the murderer.

I found it!

The Last Broadcast [DVD] (1998)
Eerily similar to "The Blair Witch Project" (and filmed at least a year before that film), this shot-for-$900 thriller unfolds like a documentary, focusing on two hosts of a cable access TV show who join two strange fans to hunt down the legendary Jersey Devil in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. When only one fan returns from the trip alive, he remains the prime suspect in the disappearances. With David Beard and Jim Seward. 86 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo; Subtitles: English, Spanish; audio commentary; documentaries; interviews; art gallery; poster gallery; more.
Category: Horror    Director: Stefan Avalos
