One of the first new artists we started to play on FFR after we got involved with MySpace was Taylor Swift.
She was already well on her way when we added her to our playlist, but soon after she really started to explode. Now she's touring with Rascal Flatts, her song "Tim McGraw" is on the Great American Country Top 20 Videos chart and she's getting a lot of traditional airplay. She's on the cusp of becoming a pretty big Country artist.
She released an album recently, and if you go through her MySpace page you can get an autographed copy of the new disc. I ordered two, because I thought it would be cool to give one away as a prize and hold a New Music Weekend for the album.
I ordered the CD on Saturday and SOMEHOW it showed up at my door TODAY! I am stunned but very impressed. Further more, we got the two factory sealed CD's and two additional insert books with the signatures!
WOO HOO!
So anyway, I just wanted to point out how great the service is when you're dealing with people who are grateful for their opportunities in life and on the way up! I hope she gets all the fame in the world because she's got a nice voice and seems to be a genuinely nice person. She also writes her own music which is a NICE thing to see with such a young artist.

Speaking of which: The new songs you have added, included a group called Cute Is What We Aim For, and Kaisha did send you them. I asked her yesterday after hearing a selection how she heard of them. She said from MySpace.... it is definately helping artists gain recognition!
