I don't know what happened to the original thread.   ??  I thought it was stickied so we could add as we realized something was missing.


But anyhow, here is a missing one:

I unstickied it because you guys are cheating. You're not just putting songs that were missing after the crash (which was the intent of the original post-crash missing thread), you're putting songs on that you just want added to the list overall.

I have too much to do right now to deal with a never-ending list of requests, I want to try to get to all of them, but it's depressing to see that thread just get longer and longer and longer every day. It never ends

On top of that I need to listen to pretty much every song that I don't know in advance to make sure it's not full of swearing or completely out of line with the stations general sound.

Don't get me wrong, I want to add as much new music as I can to our system, but the old system of just letting anyone post anything they think should be on here isn't working for me.

Also keep in mind I'm working a goofy new shift that has me sleeping at all kinds of bizarre times so I'm a little cranky

SO PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED! I just don't want this becoming a job for me. That almost KILLED the station a month ago when I was spending most of my waking hours trying to fix the request system.

You have no idea how close I was to saying "screw it" and just pulling the plug on this money-sucking beast of a hobby.

I guess I should go back to bed, even I realize what a crab-ass I sound like

I dont think that was crab ass at all it was something that needed said. YOU work your butt of for this station as a hobby and some people dont realize the amount of time, money and heart you put into this for OUR enjoyment as well. Thank You

Don't mind me, I'm on under four hours sleep right now

The station just hasn't been any fun for me for about three or four months now. It's become more of something "I HAVE TO DO" than something "I WANT TO DO" and that's not good. Not good at all.

I'd like to switch places with JD and worry about nothing but four hours of DJing a week. Let someone else deal with keeping all the stuff running and adding music, and editing music, and dealing with Live365 and blah blah blah.

Anyone looking to buy a station cheap? I'll include all the equipment and furniture at a reasonable price, all I ask is that I get to do a show for a few hours a week. Whaddya say?

You get the computers, the flat panel monitors, the furniture. I bet we can get this deal done for around $5,000.00?

Anyone? Anyone at all? Fee's are paid up for the next TEN MONTHS!!! You won't even have to worry about that!

I can't afford to buy a friggin $10 gift for one of ya, I don't think I can buy a station.


If there was any way I could help with the station ,a lake away, then I would. But somehow I don't think I can do it remotely.

that wasnt a kick woo....I was just giving you an alternative to buying a gift. I think a personal gifts that someone makes are better.  The gifts people buy are nice but the ones that are made for you are special. They are given and made with the heart.

No Ruby - Dawn bad!  (They test on animals...)  Put the bunnies in headstocks like this, so they can't move, as the product is put directly into their eyes.  (I won't include a horrifying picture of them actually going through tests, because that's just too much, even for Halloween.)

I know, but you can't, because the bunnies live in this world too & they need you to be their voice.  Or at least help out by not using the evil ones' products.  www.navs.org


Go to "Who tests?" & type in the product name.  It will tell you whether they do or not.  (Again, don't worry - This website does not have any graphic pictures on it.)
