It's been quite awhile since I bought any new concert DVD's. My Duran Duran & Meatloaf ones are getting worn out!
So I went on a shopping spree today and bought four new ones.
Tonight I'll be firing up the projector, the surround sound and the popcorn machine & settling in to the first row! Maybe I'll have a pizza delivered too!
Anyone wanna join me?
We'll be watching...
INXS - Live in Wembley Stadium 1991 (not in high-def, but it does have remastered sound and Michael Hutchence was ALIVE for it
Chicago the Sound Stage performance (This IS in high-definition and wide-screen, it should be awesome!)
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Sound Stage Performance (Again, high-def and wide-screen, plus it's nearly THREE HOURS LONG!! WOO HOO!)
Finally, we'll roundout Riggstock with...
Phil Collins live in Paris! (Widesrcreen, this one has a two hour concert and ALL his music videos! WOO HOO!)
Mad Mema wrote: Hehehe.. I'm in Kansas, Craig. It would take me about 16 or 18 hours to drive to where he is. Chicago itself is probably a 10 hour drive from here.
Wow! Mema, if u drove in a straight line from one end of the UK to the other u would almost drive into the ocean! its that small compared to the States!
Its awesome JD! remastered as well. DTS 5.1 SOUND on the UK part of the concert. the US concert in PHILLY still sounds good in dolby dig as well. put it on my projector and its great on the big screen!
