How do you dress like the 90s??

The boy is going to Hilton Head Island this weekend with the youth group. He is going to a 90s themed dance and is supposed to dress accordingly. But I am not sure how that is???

Fat people pants with giant legs, with his underwear hanging out for all to see.  Extra big shirts with a sporting logo.  The girls should wear no makeup with the exception of dark lipstick and maybe some eye-liner, and their hair greased and pulled back into a tight pony-tail.  No one should be able to figure out what anyone's body looks like under the clothing.  (God, I hated that look.)

at my 21st b-day party I was in a flannel shirt, but I didn't consider myself grunge. I think my shirt even had purple in it. There is a picture from that party above my home computer.

Umm, he still dresses like that! The baggy look! Not really, but it is still the style- he is a wigger at heart, but his mom won't fund the style! But there are plenty that do!

Thanks for the link SG!

Looking at that link, it reminds me how much I hated clothes in the 90's. Especially those pants that made that swishing noise. But there's also a lot of stuff on there that I don't remember, or that I still see kids doing.

Oh yeah, but it has to have a logo on it, and it has to be too long for his head.

I remember seeing all these young girls at the mall dressing in wigger clothing 4 sizes too big for them, and thinking "You should really show off your figure now, because it's not gonna be there forever - not like that anyway!"

I remember a pair of khaki overalls. And I definately also did headbands. Other than that, I was pretty basic jeans (tight jeans from the 80's) and a t-shirt. I do admit, when it was cold, I put a flannel shirt over the t-shirt. And a black leather jacket that I still wear over it all.
