Ok I told you guys that they were adding more stuff for me to do. Now I am trying to figure out how to make it balance so that I am working productively. I have not found that yet. Here is what I have to do that affects payroll:
The new job is checking all the piecerates from 3 shops. This consists of verifying crew and outings times, making sure that I have both job numbers and part counts, that the arrival and departure of each consumer is correct. If there is an error then I need to make a copy to send back to them and correct it.
Then I need to enter all the data in the database to be able to run the reports for payroll. That is 2 weeks worth.
After that is entered I have to plug in the number totals into the actual payroll system.
I have a few other duties but this is the area I am having trouble with.
Currently I have been trying to check each piecerate individually as I am entering them. This doesn't seem to be working. I feel like I am drowning. So now I am wondering if I just check a pile first before entering them because I can enter quite quickly.
I'm really just rambling. But if you guys have any suggestions let me know. If I don't figure out something then I will probably disappear against my will. I just won't have time to play.
