Yes, ma'am... it sure has been a long week. This is my only official "work day" of this week, but I've been working a lot! Can't wait to get back to my real job on Monday because I need a break from my break.

Weird, I know... it's just been this way. Don't get me wrong... I'm in a good mood and I'm happy for the things I've got accomplished in this last week. I'm just ready to get back to normal.

They released my dad last night, but he has to go back Monday, they are still running tests, but sent him home with antibiotics and oxygen.

I am about to head out to the greasy spoon for a late breakfast, then over to the farmers market to see if they have anything good for their last day, then over to starbucks for a big old coffee and read for awhile, then to the grocery store for some odds and ends.

hello all. Not sure what I am doing yet today. I need to some cleaning though. Hubby and the girl are working on building her bed I think. We braved A store yesterday and they did not even have what they advertised. But we found something else and got a couple of gifts out of the way. Then we had to go up north to pick up his deer that he had processed. The rest of the day was kinda a wash. We just kept falling asleep!

Morning all, afternoon to some. No Black Friday for me. It was Sour Grape in color becasue I had to work, and work today. I am just a wealth of happiness today, cause today, all life sucks. Business is bad and I am not sure I am going to recover from this one. The depressing thing is I am too freaking old to start over again, or maybe just too tired. See, told you I was just a ray of sunshine.

Good afternoon all.

I've got a lot done today. I found out a good time to go grocery shopping is the weekend after thanksgiving, everybody must still have lots of food. I did some other shopping too, and I picked up some big rubbermaid tubs to store Christmas, and Halloween, and summer/camping stuff in. Then I cleaned out the storage closet and used said tubs. Brian's taking out all the trash (from both the closet, and the rest of the house), then we're going to do laundry, and probably some shopping while the clothes are in the washer. Then I'll probably bake some organic brownies that I picked up at the grocery store, and maybe even some beer batter bread. By that time, it'll be time for supper (if not well past), then I'll finally sit my butt down for a while.

He wants to stop by and pick up the Birthday card he got from Woo, but everytime he PMs me to ask if I'll be around I happen to walk away from my computer.

Perhaps if he wasn't the LAST MAN ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH WITHOUT A CELL PHONE I could call him and tell him to go ahead and swing on by (yeah, I know, he has a trac-phone, but he doesn't give that number out because it's a pay as you go deal and he doesn't want the minutes wasted).

Or, maybe he should CALL ME

Dudely, when you get home and read this, I can just leave the card in the mailbox all weekend and you can pick it up at your leisure, or if you want to swing by with your laptop at some point we could try to transfer the rest of your music over to you (although you need to remind me where to start on those again so I can have it ready to move when you get here).

I honestly don't think the tracfone gets incoming calls? people have tried to call it in the past to no luck! I have more minutes on the thing too than I'll ever use....

Well all, I'm out for the evening. I'm quite tired from this day. Mostly things went well. This was a record sales day here for us at the shop, which is nice as it has been a miserable last 2 weeks. I think we made more durning just today than we did all last week as a matter of fact!

At one point, I thought I was going to have to break up a fist fight between Kevin and a customer, but somehow this guy managed to leave here (after even threatening litigation) smiling, shaking hands, and telling me that he's going to bring his mother's Honda in for service next week. I think the turning point in that relationship was probably when I made Kevin walk off for a few minutes and I told the customer, "Believe me... I've been with this man for 17 years. Many, MANY are the times where I'd like to kick him square in the junk too." WHEW! At least that worked out.
