I'm good thanks.

I have most of my shopping done yeah, the family all get cash, with me being so far away from them it's just easier that way plus they can get what they want then, and me and the GF went shopping together last Saturday and I got her some clothes that she wanted and she got me some DVDs I wanted so we are pretty much sorted, so just a few more bits to get now and I'm all done.

How about you how is you xmas shopping going?

I have most stuff for my kids, but need to get going on my secret santa here and at work. I made a list yesterday and plan to try to get at least one a day until I am done!

Any snow there yet?

I'm waiting for Ultimo's rubdown! Actually, it's hard to find pain medicine without corn starch in it, so I've gone without. I haven't had the time or energy to read all the labels in the drug store. I know there's some I can have, I just have to find them.

here, but tired. We got home late and then had a hard time settling down. We caught the headlines on Leno and we were laughing so hard we were crying! Today we had to drive into work together because his truck has lost reverse. So I grabbed my book to read while I wait for him tonight. My stomach also seems to be on the fritz, but I am hoping it will settle. Man I hope this day gets better.

Morning, 24 degrees and a chance of snow today. I got this in an e-mail and thought I'd share it to get everyone rolling thismorning.


Thanksgiving Story



 



One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something from the store.



When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven.



When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird.



 



With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry.

It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs!

Yep..................SHE'S BLONDE!

lol - That is funny.

I thought we'd wake up to a cover of ice this morning. It was drizzling when I went to bed and was starting to get slick then. It warmed up just a bit overnight to where it is still drizzing but not freezing . . . its 33°.

I'm thinking a nap would feel good this morning. Wish I could but I better get to work on some billing so I can pay my bills.

well I just got sprung with the news that I have to drive hubby and my sister to the airport tomorrow morning and then I get to pick them up at 1am on whatever day they are back! I am not happy about this. The airport is in Flint. I try to stay away from there and at 1am! I might as well be in Detroit! In any case I will be late tomorrow.

O h by the way they were supposed to drive to this training! nice switch-a-roo!
