Morning all- so glad it's Friday!

Howdy Folks.

Wow, it warmed up over night. It was 4° when I went to bed. Now its 29°.

I need to get the boy up, ready, and off to school.

well I am here at work now. My car was running for a 1/2 hour before I was even starting to get thru just the windshield. My whole car was covered in ice and it is still freezing rain with snow on the way. I was smart enough to take my car scraper/brush inside last night, but not smart enough to make sure I took it with me when I left.

So I bummed a scraper from work but it has no brush. My husband called me this morning to see what we got. He then told me that starting at 5pm they are going to be under a high wind advisory. So now they are worried about their flight back.

Just sounds like an oh so wonderful day.

Good Morning everyone, I made it to work today. of course the voice-mail and e-mail are completely full so I will probably see everyone in about a month.

I got the boy to school but gotta go back and get him for a dr. apt. at 9:30. The way he's acting, we think he's got a bladder infection. He won't tell us why, but he won't pee at school. He holds it all day and as soon as he gets home he runs to the bathroom. I'm sure that is the cause of this infection. I know he has trouble with the snaps on his jeans being too hard to snap. I've asked him if he's to embarrassed to ask his teacher to snap his jeans but he says "no thats not it". When I ask him what it is he won't tell me and just says "I don't know". Every day he tells me "I'll pee at school today, dad" but then doesn't do it. He feels bad enough now, maybe this will convince him.

I'm amazed at how warm 30° feels today. Its been so cold for the last few days, it feels nice this morning.

The totals for the State of Oklahoma in the Tulsa Metro and OKC Metro as well as northern Oklahoma counties are around 8-15 inches of SNOW!

Tulsa recieved 10 inches of snow which is a record, Bartlesville recieved 15 inches. towns further south around Muskogee and Tahlequah only had about between 2-4 inches.

car is running great and the overpasses and streets seem to be ok however all 3 turnpikes are closed due to 3 overturned and jacknifed semis. I called the weather line for Cap One and they were going to open at 10. I called my trainer tho to tell her I was not gonna make it. to far to drive and although traffic is not heavy, I dont have the money to pay a tow truck to come get me unstuck if I slide or cant move. My trainer told me to not worry about it as she is not going in either. she had about 3 people call on her cell phone and more on the work phone but she cant check it. my partner may not be going in either. have to wait and see.

This storm was phenominal. For those of you in Chi Town, Wisconsion, Michigan, Inidana, and I think even Ohio, pleaes be careful and if you feel its going to get bad, GO HOME. THis storm was not pretty. at all.
