Fox news is reporting they are trying to get Saddam executed before midnight tonight, which is under an hour away in Iraq.

Yeah, that woulda been a lot easier.

But then, it was good to put that humiliating image of the "mighty" Saddam being pulled from his hole in the ground looking like a common street person out there in the press. It helped show them this man they thought was so powerful was just a coward hiding in a hole.

If we could do the same with Osama that would be GREAT!

When Osama is caught, I hope they bury him in the middle of where the towers once stood and then place a public toilet over his grave.

I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!

We build a steel holding tank with the only opening the tiny toilet hole and inprison Osama down there. Build a porta-potty over it and put it right there on the street for everyone to use.

I can almost see it now. He'd be down there cursing up toward the hole "Death to America! Death to the infidels!" and the guy on the crapper would be yellin' down "SHADDUP OSAMA! I'M SENDIN' YA A PRESENT!!!"



I bet this would become a HUGE tourist attraction

I actually stayed awake last night until I heard confirmation that he was dead.  I don't know why I felt it important to know that sack of ****e was dead, but it was. I even got a text message from a friend about it.  One less evil bastage in the world anyway.

I did see that and I did not like the way that those who did the hanging seemed to be nothing more than smarmy dogs. they should have been better people to do this. not smarmy dogs. my opinion only.

It is sad to me what a bleak tale Hussein's life was, and its conclusion brings no true closure. Saddam's execution was a punishment of vengeance and retribution, which unfortunately cannot heal the lives he has impacted. Even sadder is the fact that one man's actions has generated so much grief and hate in our world that it will outlast his life. I don't pity the man, but I am saddened by the lasting horror he intrduced to our world.

Just remember we supported his government during the Iran-Iraq war in the 70's.  Guess he was the lesser of the two evils!
